Join us for a gathering of Hampshire County based RFK Jr. supporters who have volunteered or plan on volunteering for the "Friends & Family Ballot Access Plan" and "Signature Hub" initiatives. This is an opportunity to meet fellow volunteers and to:
-
Receive a training on how to collect petition signatures. Because of the idiosyncrasies of these petitions and the petitioning process, this training is required prior to receiving the petition kits.
-
Pick up signature kits (if available) If you have not already done so, reach out to Jim Ayres ([email protected]) and confirm how many signatures you anticipate collecting in order for campaign personnel to plan for how many petitions to include in the petition kits assembled for you in advance.
-
Build local teams to help strategize future petitioning events at supermarkets, etc. (as time allows),
TO DO: If you have not registered for the "Friends and Family" initiative, please do so prior to attending. Register at the kennedy24.com site.
LOCATION: 285 Stanley Street, Amherst
DATE & TIME: Sunday, April 14th, from 2pm to 4pm. At 2pm until approximately 2:30 we will get settled and hand out petitioning packets. For those who have already received a campaign-based training in petitioning, whether in person with Jim or through the Zoom training provided by the campaign, you may simply pick up the kit and leave, or feel free to stay for the rest of the meeting until 4pm. At the end of the meeting, we can make time for further strategizing, and team building such as supermarket petitioning opportunities, and mingling.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If petition kits are not available at the time of this meeting, this will be an opportunity to meet each other, strategize, and get trained in the petitioning process, a pre-requisite for all Massachusetts-based petitioning on this campaign.
This is a Supporter created event and is not associated with the RFK Jr. campaign. RFK Jr. will not be in attendance and any money collected is for the campaign.
