Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced City Manager to oversee volunteer efforts in their respective metropolitan area. The City Manager will play a crucial role in coordinating volunteer activities, staffing campaign events, and ensuring the effective operation of the state phone bank system. This position requires strong leadership skills, campaign experience, and a passion for grassroots engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate volunteer efforts within the metropolitan area, including staffing campaign events and activities.
  • Ensure volunteers are properly onboarded into the state phone bank system and provide ongoing support as needed.
  • Lead canvassing efforts to engage voters and promote campaign initiatives.
  • Identify and attend tabling events in the community on a weekly basis to increase campaign visibility.
  • Manage and motivate volunteer teams to achieve campaign goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Previous political campaign experience preferred.
  • Sales experience, door-to-door marketing experience, or related field.
  • Experience managing volunteer teams and coordinating grassroots efforts.
  • Database experience, familiarity with CRM systems preferred.
  • Phone banking experience, including recruiting and training volunteers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
