Join Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and Nicole Shanahan for this Earth Day panel discussion where they will share their vision for healthy people and a healthy planet. This Earth Day event is also being held hours before the first night of Passover, both of which celebrate the Earth, its renewal, and the coming of spring.
Kennedy has stated that he aspires to be the strongest environmental President since Teddy Roosevelt. He has long been one of the nation’s most influential environmentalists, bringing hundreds of lawsuits against corporate polluters and government agencies. He co-founded the Waterkeeper Alliance, the world's largest water-protection nonprofit that protects 2.7 million miles of waterways in the U.S. and 46 other countries.
Shanahan has spent much of her career focused on the health of people and planet. She’s committed to regenerative agriculture and promoting soil health. She is the executive producer of the groundbreaking 2020 film “Kiss the Ground” and the just-released “Common Ground.”
In this discussion, they will explore how they will safeguard our water, air, soil, and the natural world, and why protecting the environment is essential to protecting the health of Americans.
Kennedy and Shanahan will be joined by food sovereignty advocate and author Vandana Shiva, philosopher Charles Eisenstein and co-founder of the non-profit Kiss the Ground Ryland Engelhart. EcoWatch founder Stefanie Spear will moderate the panel.
