Redwing Bar & Grill is simply the best of the San Diego karaoke scene. We'll grab a table near the stage, have a "Grab a Button" container, and have a QR code for the famous "Who is Bobby Kennedy?" video.
Get ready to unleash your inner rockstar! We'll all be singing our hearts out to our favorite tunes, creating a night filled with laughter, music, and unforgettable performances.
Karaoke starts at 7 p.m. We'll grab our table at 6 p.m., but you can join us anytime. But understand: the list of singers gets long pretty quickly. If you want to get a song in, you'll need to get there before 8 p.m. Go here to look up the massive list of available songs.
The food at Redwing is AMAZING. However, beware—they don't skimp on the drinks! Be responsible. You'll get your money's worth.
Here are a few other pointers and "rules of the road."
1) Redwing is family. It is owned by Evette and Sarah, an amazing couple. They have created a place where everyone - regardless of age, gender identity, sexual orientation, etc. - feels at home. Respect and acceptance of others is REQUIRED.
2) We are there to "show the flag" for Mr. Kennedy and Ms. Shanahan. Please DO NOT "solicit" in any way, shape, or form. If people approach and ask questions, we can certainly answer. But we MUST respect everyone's space and privacy.
3) We are GUESTS in someone else's home! That is all that needs to be said.
4) Parking is a Challenge: If you arrive between 6 and 7 p.m., you'll have a fair shot at finding a spot on 30th Street or one of the nearby streets. After 8:00 p.m., you're better off heading south a block to 30th and University. There is a multi-story parking garage next door to the North Path Theater. $5 for the night. If you can't make it until 8:00 p.m., the parking garage is the "easy button."
