MADISON, WI—AUGUST 6, 2024—The Kennedy campaign today announced it has submitted the required number of signatures to gain ballot access in South Dakota and Wisconsin, filed the remaining paperwork in Nevada, and is officially certified on the ballot in Vermont.
All signatures collected in South Dakota and Wisconsin have been validated by the campaign’s independent ballot access validation firm, confirming Kennedy has more than enough signatures to achieve ballot access in those states.
South Dakota
The campaign today submitted 8,000 signatures in Pierre, more than double the 3,502 required.
“I’m proud to say Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will be on the ballot in South Dakota,” said South Dakota Volunteer Leader Sarah Sturges. “It’s been an honor to be part of this journey.”
Wisconsin
The campaign today submitted just under 4,000 signatures in Madison, nearly double the 2,000 required.
“More than 50 volunteers helped collect signatures to put Kennedy on the ballot,” said Wisconsin State Director Karla Carpenter. “Wisconsinites will now have the opportunity to vote Kennedy and elect our first independent presidential candidate since George Washington.”
