RFK Jr. Is the Best Choice this Fall

The Daily News reports: To the editor: Independent Presidential Candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has collected well over a million signatures, the most signatures ever collected by a presidential candidate via an army of 100,000 volunteers, more than any other candidate! This powerful, new independent movement they said wasn’t possible was formed in a matter of months despite constant smears, games and nonstop frivolous lawsuits. One candidate is being attacked from all sides, which tells you everything, as Bobby is the only one who is an actual threat to the war machine, big business and the divisive political system that only benefits elites/insiders. Kennedy is uniting independents (51% of voters) plus fed-up Democrats/Republicans. Can Kamala defeat Trump? Maybe, although she has yet to speak to the press and still doesn’t have a single policy proposal on her website. Harris was handed the nomination, as opposed to a primary voting process for the grassroots. These actions cannot be allowed to stand. When Kamala actually ran in the Democratic primary four years ago, the message was loud and clear: the grassroots doesn’t want Kamala. An Economist/You Gov poll indicates 43% of people who are leaning towards Harris are purely voting against Trump. In other words, the dreaded voting lesser of two evils. According to Zogby, in a head-to-head matchup, Kennedy destroys Trump 57% to 43%. There is endless polling occurring which is cherry-picked to make Bobby look like he has little chance. However, multiple polls don’t even have Kennedy as an option to choose from. Did you know that was happening? Independent Ross Perot garnered 18.9% of the vote in 1992. Critically, a Voter Research and Surveys exit poll conducted on Election Day found that up to 40% of voters indicated they would have voted for Perot if they thought he could win, easily enough to have won him the presidency. The lesson from 1992 is that it comes down to belief. The establishment’s job is to make you think things are hopelessly negative and to defeat your spirit. Polling shows Kennedy is more liked than Harris or Trump. The only thing that potentially prevents Bobby from winning in November is the false belief through constant propaganda that he can’t win and that you would be throwing away your vote. What a tragedy that would be. Will this generation rise to the occasion? All we got to do is mark Kennedy on the ballot this November. Read the full article here.

RFK Jr. to Defend Bid to Get on Pennsylvania Ballot Against Democrats’ Challenge

AP reports: Independent Presidential Candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was expected to appear in court Tuesday to defend his effort to get on the ballot for president in the premier battleground state of Pennsylvania, where Democrats are angling to force him off in what is expected to be a closely contested race. Democratic Party-aligned challengers say Kennedy’s candidacy paperwork states a false home address — an allegation being aired in other state courts — and contains other damning shortcomings, such as the wrong names of people who supposedly attested that they gathered the signatures of thousands of voters. Kennedy’s campaign has dismissed the legal challenge as “frivolous.” Kennedy’s campaign says it has collected enough signatures for ballot access in all 50 states and that it is officially on the ballot in 22 states, including the battlegrounds of Michigan and North Carolina. RFK Jr. Submits Signatures for Alabama Ballot Access

Al.com reports: Independent Presidential Candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has submitted signatures to gain ballot access in Alabama for the presidential election in November, according to his campaign. Kennedy, who is running as an independent, submitted over 15,000 signatures in Montgomery on Thursday, according to Stefanie Spear, press representative for the campaign. That’s more than three times the required number of 5,000, the campaign said. “We are providing Alabama voters a chance to change the trajectory of our country from a negative to positive future,” said Oluchi Onwuvuche, the campaign’s Alabama state director, in the release. Kennedy also submitted signatures in Arizona and Montana, his campaign said today. Read the full article here.

RFK Jr. Wants the U.S. Treasury to Buy $4M Worth of Bitcoin

USA Today reports: Independent Presidential Candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. continues to find ways to pique interest among voters. Recently, Kennedy unveiled some ideas he has about cryptocurrency.  Last month, RFK Jr. headlined the Bitcoin 2024 conference in Nashville, Tennessee. During his keynote speech last month, Kennedy said that if he becomes president, he would direct the U.S. Treasury to buy 550 Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) per day until a reserve of at least 4 million Bitcoins had been acquired. Owning 4 million Bitcoin would represent a significant portion of the total supply and could give the U.S. some leverage as it relates to the price of the crypto. Read the full article here.

RFK Jr. Cleared for Maine Ballot After Challenge Dropped

The Center Square reports: Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. will likely appear on Maine ballots in November after a challenge to his nominating petitions was dropped.   Secretary of State Shenna Bellows announced that a hearing set for Wednesday had been canceled, with the challenge withdrawn by the filer, clearing what is likely a final hurdle to get on the ballot with Democrat Kamala Harris and Republican Donald Trump in November. James Stretch, who worked as a staffer on President Joe Biden's 2020 campaign, didn't give a reason for dropping the ballot challenge in the one-page letter he submitted to Bellow's office earlier this week. The likelihood that Kennedy will remain on the November ballot alongside Trump and Harris means Maine will use ranked-choice voting for the presidential race, as there will be more than two candidates. The ranked-choice system requires voters to list candidates in order of preference. If no candidate gets 50% of the votes, the candidate who got the fewest votes is eliminated, and their votes are reallocated and re-tabulated until someone wins a majority. RFK Jr.’s 2003 Lake George Visit Echoes in Today’s Environmental Discussion

CBS 6 Albany Reports: In the 1990's, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was an environmental attorney who championed a cleanup of the Hudson River that earned him the title “Hero for the Planet” in 1999 from Time magazine. CBS 6's Liz Bishop asked him where and how his love affair with the Hudson River began. He explained as a young, boy he went on a whitewater rafting trip with his father (former U.S. Senator Bobby Kennedy) in the Upper Hudson — he remembered the water as being the coldest he’d ever experienced—and that, on rafting trips out West he had been able to drink the water.   Watch the full video here.

RFK Jr. Scores Legal Win in Key Swing State of North Carolina

Newsweek Reports: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has secured a key legal victory in North Carolina, with a state judge ruling that he can remain on the presidential ballot. On Monday, Wake County Superior Court Judge Keith Gregory dismissed a request by the North Carolina Democratic Party to block the printing of Kennedy's name, as well as those of other candidates from the recently certified "We the People" party. The board's staff confirmed that We the People had met the state's signature requirements, which include collecting at least 13,865 valid signatures from registered voters. Judge Rejects DNC Lawsuit Against RFK Jr. in North Carolina

CBS 17 Reports: A Wake County judge has denied an effort by the North Carolina Democratic Party that would have resulted in the removal of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. from the General Election ballot. The North Carolina State Board of Elections voted in July to formally recognize the We the People Party. The state democratic party sued the State Board of Elections arguing that RFK Jr. is really an independent candidate who should have gotten more signatures from voters. Instead, they argued Kennedy and his team created the We the People Party which required far fewer signatures. Watch the full coverage here.

Kennedy ‘Spoke Up’ About Vaccine Issues

The Durango Herald Reports: Independent Presidential Candidate Robert Kennedy Jr. is right: vaccines haven’t been sufficiently safety tested. In a recent New England Journal of Medicine article, a renowned vaccinologist and his co-authors supported Kennedy’s stance by explaining how U.S. post-market surveillance systems are inadequately funded, and existing funds haven’t been allocated toward vaccine-safety monitoring and science. In addition, they said people want “public health authorities to mitigate and prevent rare but serious adverse reactions –which no longer seem rare when vaccines are given to millions or billions of people.” Although vaccine-adverse events are indeed rare, they impact tens of thousands of people when administered on a large scale. Those injured are often ignored because it’s financially inconvenient to acknowledge their existence. However, if integrity and honesty are not restored in medical research, vaccine hesitancy will continue to rise. RFK Jr. Has Enough Signatures to Appear on Ballot in All 50 States

Fox News Reports: Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy claims to have enough signatures to appear on the ballot in all 50 states. Kennedy spoke with Fox News's Neil Cavuto on Friday, discussing his impact on the main parties' campaigns and his chances at victory. "Right now we have enough signatures to be on all 50 states," Kennedy said when asked about his eligibility nationwide.  He continued, "We’ve handed most of them in, some of the states are not yet certified, but we’re gonna be on the ballot in all 50 states, for sure." Cavuto questioned why Kennedy is only officially registered on the ballot in approximately eight states so far — the independent candidate said that the hold-up was due to state governments. "A lot of the states, Neil, don’t certify until mid-August. So, we’ve turned in our signatures, the signatures have been accepted, and they’re gonna be certified." Read the full article here.

The office sent a letter to the campaign certifying Kennedy’s petition contained 122,513 valid signatures, about 9,000 more than the 113,151 he needed to get on the ballot. The petition signers had to be registered voters who did not vote in the March primary elections. Kennedy is on the ballot so far in 16 states, including the battlegrounds of Michigan and North Carolina, according to a New York Times analysis.  Read the full article here.
