RFK Details Importance of Bitcoin for U.S. Freedoms, ‘It’s a Guarantee of Democracy’

TheStreet reports: Speaking today at the North American Blockchain Summit, leading independent candidate in the 2024 presidential election Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. described his personal interest in bitcoin and how it has inspired him as a tool to preserve freedoms and advance the U.S. economy. “I really started investigating bitcoin and the more that I learned about it, the more I fell in love with it and fell in love with the community,” Kennedy recalled. “It’s democracy. It’s a guarantee of democracy, that decentralization.” Kennedy was interviewed on stage by Fred Thiel, CEO of one of the world’s largest public bitcoin mining firms in Marathon Digital Holdings. During the conversation, Kennedy recalled how he first encountered bitcoin while speaking with members of the Freedom Convoy movement in Canada, a protest that led the Canadian government to freeze the bank accounts of demonstrators, leaving them without the money they needed to survive. RFK Jr. Pokes Fun at News Outlets Over Barefoot Flight Stories

Washington Examiner reports: 2024 presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. shared a new photo of him online, joking about the recent stories that some news outlets have published about him. Kennedy, who is running as an independent candidate, recently went viral over a photo of him shared online that appeared to show Kennedy barefoot while returning from the restroom on an airplane. In response to these stories, Kennedy has released a new Kennedy 2024 photo of him sitting barefoot inside an airport. The line of having "no Secret Service" is a reference to how the presidential candidate has not received protection from the agency amid his presidential run, despite Secret Service protection being offered to other presidential candidates in previous elections. Last month, a man trespassed into Kennedy's California home twice, with the man, later identified as Jonathan Macht, 28, going back to Kennedy's home immediately after he was released by the authorities. Kennedy's wife, Cheryl Hines, stated last month that her husband's campaign has been denied three times by the Homeland Security Department for Secret Service protection. She also claimed that the decision to withhold protection feels like "a political strategy" and that the lack of protection from the agency is "really disappointing.” Read the full article here.   If you resonate with this message please subscribe to our newsletter to learn more.

RFK, Jr. Scores Endorsements From Three High-Profile Athletes

Fox News reports: A trio of former professional athletes are throwing their support behind independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. to take the White House. NBA legend and 1992 "Dream Team" Olympian John Stockton, Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame member Ken Ruettegers and three-time North American Enduro mountain biking champion Kyle Warner are all endorsing Kennedy for president. The athletes said they like the cut of Kennedy's jib — all three pointed to what they say are the independent candidate's genuineness, honesty and openness to conversations about policies as reasons they support him. Stockton said he believes Kennedy "has been put on this planet for just this moment in time" and that there's "a real need for him and his leadership." "There's a need for very smart people in these positions that have integrity that [is] off the charts, that have the stamina and strength to be able to speak and be a leader 24/7, not just on occasion or on blips," Stockton said. "And, maybe more than anything, a person that can un-divide this country," the NBA legend continued. "I don't think we've ever been this divided." "You look around, and you see all the different things that are pulling us apart," he said. "Finally, we have, I think, the right man there available again. What an opportunity to bring us back together." Read the full article here. If you resonate with this message please subscribe to our newsletter to learn more.

Who Is Most at Risk From RFK, Jr.’s Independent Run?

The Epoch Times reports: When Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. announced he would run as an independent instead of remaining a contender for the Democrat Party’s 2024 presidential nomination, pundits immediately started debating about whether the candidate would take more votes away from President Joe Biden or former President Donald Trump. A series of recent polls show that Mr. Kennedy is gaining momentum and is having a mostly equal impact on both candidates. Mr. Kennedy was the leading candidate for respondents between the ages of 18 and 36 at 38 percent, compared to 32 percent each for President Biden and President Trump. Overall, the poll indicated that in a three-way race, President Biden garnered 39 percent, President Trump, 36 percent, and Mr. Kennedy, 22 percent. The poll surveyed 1,610 self-identified registered voters nationwide and has a margin of error of plus or minus 2.4 percentage points. “With minority and younger voters seeming intrigued, Kennedy, for now, enjoys the kind of demographic support his charismatic father and uncles generated decades ago,” Quinnipiac University polling analyst Tim Malloy said in a statement. Mr. Malloy said he believes Mr. Kennedy is drawing support from younger voters because of his plan to introduce 3 percent mortgages funded by tax-free bonds. “Every other generation was told if you work hard and live by the rules, you can finance a home. You can put money aside for retirement and raise a family with one job. There’s no one in my kids’ generation who thinks that applies to them,” Mr. Kennedy said at a recent campaign stop in Asheville, N.C. How RFK, Jr. Could Change the Outcome of the 2024 Election

CNN Reports: There are few things you can be more certain of in life than a Democrat or a Republican winning a US presidential election. We don’t usually do third parties or independents in this country. Chances are Democrat Joe Biden or Republican Donald Trump will be elected a year from now. But it would be foolish to dismiss what the current polls are telling us: Independent Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. is polling higher than any independent or third-party candidate in a generation. He, along with other non-major-party candidates, has a real chance to affect the outcome of the 2024 election. The last independent presidential candidate to earn over 20% support in a poll within a year of the election was Ross Perot in 1992. He ended up getting 19% of the popular vote. Perot is a bit of an exception in that independent or third-party candidates usually fade as an election nears. John Anderson was polling above 20% during the 1980 campaign, before pulling in just 7% in November. In 1968, former Alabama Gov. George Wallace topped out at 21% in pre-election polling as a third-party candidate before picking up 14% when the votes were cast. The amazing thing, though, is that these three have been the only non-major-party candidates in the history of polling to hit more than 20% within a year of the election. Kennedy is now part of this select group. Read the full article here.   If you resonate with this message please subscribe to our newsletter to learn more.

Why Gen Z Loves Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.

Newsweek reports: Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. received more support from Generation Z than either President Joe Biden or former President Donald Trump in a New York Times/Siena College poll released this week. Biden and Trump, both viewed as front-runners to win their party's primary contests, are facing questions about their ability to connect with young voters, a group historically known for low turnout. Gen Z tends to skew Democratic, but Biden has found himself at odds with young voters over key issues like the Israel-Hamas war and student loan relief. Kennedy, a Democrat-turned-independent, is finding success with these voters as he hopes to topple the two-party system in the 2024 presidential election. The poll, which surveyed 3,662 registered voters across six battleground states from October 22 to November 3, found Kennedy winning support from 34 percent of voters age 18 to 29. Gen Z's support for Kennedy may also be related to the younger set's desire to change the current political system, Meena Bose, executive dean of Hofstra University's Peter S. Kalikow School of Government, Public Policy and International Affairs, told Newsweek. "It's less policy issues that young voters appear to be responding to, than a desire for change in the system, and that's what somewhat motivated support for Barack Obama in 2008, and Donald Trump in 2016, and now for an independent candidate," she said. A Kennedy spokesperson told Newsweek the poll is "very significant." "Mr. Kennedy is the number one choice for young people and independents. He draws strong support from both Democrats and Republicans, and from black, white, and Latino voters. This demonstrates a strong potential for him to unify the country," the spokesperson wrote in a statement. Among voters ages 18-29, Kennedy was selected by 34 percent of respondents against Biden (30 percent) and Trump (29 percent). For voters ages 30-44, Kennedy polled at 31 percent, with Biden and Trump both polling at 30 percent. Overall, among voters under the age of 45, Kennedy polled at 32 percent, Biden at 30 percent, and Trump at 29 percent.  The findings in the poll reflect another recent study conducted by Quinnipiac University, which surveyed 1,610 self-identified registered voters. In 3-Way Race, Independent Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. Garners 24% Across 6 Battleground States

Siena College Research Institute reports: “If 2024 turns into a Joe Biden vs. Donald Trump rematch with Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. as an independent, battleground state voters currently say it would be a very close contest, with Trump at 35%, Biden 33% and Kennedy 24%,” Dr. Don Levy, Director, Siena College Research Institute, said. “Trump only retains significant leads in Nevada and Georgia. Arizona and Pennsylvania move from the Trump column to dead even. And Wisconsin and Michigan remain very tight. “It is noteworthy that among voters under 45 in those six states, RFK polls at 32%, Biden at 30% and Trump is at 29%,” Levy said. “Overall, while 18% of Democrats and 16% of Republicans say they would back RFK, 39% of independents would back Kennedy, compared to 28% for Biden and 25% for Trump. “By two-to-one, 57-29%, voters across the states say economic issues (jobs, taxes, cost of living) are more important than societal issues (abortion, guns, democracy) when they determine who to support next year. While a plurality of Democrats says societal issues are more important, more than 60% of both Republicans and independents are making voting decisions based on economic issues,” Levy said. RFK, Jr. Urges Marijuana Legalization "To End Addiction"

NewsNation reports: Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., an independent 2024 presidential candidate, asserts the U.S. needs to “legalize pot to end addiction,” in a new campaign ad. In the ad, which pulls clips from a C-SPAN interview, Kennedy described his plan to federally legalize marijuana and allocate tax revenue for substance misuse treatment and rehabilitation. “What I’ve advocated is that we should legalize marijuana. We should have a federal tax on marijuana that is designated specifically for drug treatment and rehabilitation and I want to build, as part of my presidency, a series of renewal centers of detoxification, essentially, centers around this country to treat the rise in mental illness and PTSD and drug addiction that is debilitating our children,” he said in the ad. Additionally, Kennedy called for reform to ensure that cannabis businesses can “bank their profit and their revenues,” rather than operate on a cash-only basis that “encourages more crime.” Though he’s expressed concerns about “the proliferation of stimulants and mind-altering substances,” he added that he believes in “personal freedoms” and considers the current policy of criminalizing and incarcerating people over drugs to be untenable.
