Presidential Candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. Visits Greater Cincinnati on Campaign Tour

WLWT News 5 reports:

Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., whose father and uncle were assassinated in the 1960s, brought his "Independence Tour" to the Marriott Hotel in West Chester.

Kennedy is going the independent route, telling the crowd that the power structure wants to keep everyone at each other's throats.

"When the king and queen look over the palisades of their castle, and they see all their subjects fighting each other, they go back to the banquet, and they pop champagne corks," he said.

Those words struck a chord with his true believers, like Shannon Wintheiser, of Blue Ash.

"I've been voting for, I don't know, almost twenty years now, and I have never been able to vote for a candidate that I believe in like this," Wintheiser said.
