The South Carolina volunteers & supporters of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. For President 2024 will be proudly representing their candidate in the largest one day St. Patrick’s Celebration in the Southeast!

A huge KENNEDY FOR PRESIDENT 2024 float is one of the parade entries!

We invite ALL Kennedy supporters and volunteers across the entirety of South Carolina and neighboring states to join us at the annual St. Pat’s In Five Points Parade & Festival in Columbia, SC. 

Help us in making a LARGE, POWERFUL, and UNDENIABLY STRONG showing of support for Mr. Kennedy’s 2024 candidacy for President of the United States as well as celebrate and honor his deep Irish American ancestral heritage.

We are calling for FLOAT RIDERS, PARADE WALKERS/MARCHERS, COLOR GAURD, BANNER CARRIERS, SIGNATURE GATHERERS, SC REGISTERED VOTERS/PETITION SIGNEES and more.

SPECIAL NOTATION: Yes, this will also serve as a  petition signing event for all South Carolina registered voters. If you haven’t had an opportunity to sign the petition to get Mr. Kennedy on the SC ballot, you can do so at this event. 

Once you RSVP, we will contact you to discuss how you want to participate— 

Whether it’s riding the Kennedy parade float, walking/marching in the parade, handing out candy and campaign info to spectators, signing the SC Ballot Access Petition, being designated Ballot Access Signature Petitioners, being designated Ballot Access Petitioner Trainers, or by helping us prepare in advance for this event. There are many ways to take part in this very special day of Grassroots Mobilization and Activation for Kennedy 2024!

Kennedy 2024 tee shirts will be gifted to all parade participants. Irish themed accessories will be gifted as well! We have a galore of Irish scarves, headbands, bow ties, pins and more.

SIGNING THE PETITION FOR BALLOT ACCESS AFTER THE PARADE:

The parade route will end at College Street, just beyond the Five Points Fountain, at approximately 11:30AM.

The Fountain is at the corner of Harden and Greene Streets.

At the conclusion of the parade, (from the fountain’s location on Greene), take a right and walk 450 feet to the large Martin Luther King Jr. monument at the entrance to MLK Jr. Park at 2200 Greene Street. You will easily spot us gathering petition signatures just inside the entrance to the park. 

Additionally, Ballot Access Training and Ballot Access Petitioning Kits will be provided for those who wish to be trained in how to obtain petition signatures on their own. It’s fun! Once you start you can’t stop.

IMPORTANT—>  We initially planned to meet at K24 Headquarters and carpool. As this event and its planning has developed, the consensus is that the majority of attendees would rather drive to the event location themselves rather than carpool. 

From the parade coordinator James Agnes: “I have received a lot of questions about parking and where is the best place to meet your groups. There is a pretty good amount of street parking within a few blocks of the parade route.”

Since driving to location on our own has the overwhelmingly majority of the vote, following Mr. Agnes advice is the best guidance. 

The entry point for parade participants is Devine St. at Millwood Ave. Parade Volunteers in green shirts will assist in directing you to the Kennedy For President float. REMEMBER THIS- Our Line-Up Number is #21. As long as you remember that and tell the parade volunteer that is your group, you will have no problems getting to our unit! Other pertinent information to know is: Our designated line-up street is Devine Street and our designated arrival and line up time is 8:45.
