Enjoy the shimmering bay waters and salty air while meeting other supporters and spreading the word about RFK Jr for President 2024! People need to know about him in order for him to become our next President. Be a part of this transformative movement!
We’ll kick off with a short orientation at Flora Wylie Park, with helpful information to get us started. Depending upon how many of us there are, we may form into groups to cover several waterfront areas where many people gather on Saturdays. We will be engaging people in conversation about Robert F. Kennedy Jr, letting them know he’s running for President 2024!
(If this is on the edge of your comfort zone, you are encouraged to come anyway! You won’t be the only one who will be pushing past reservedness to be part of real change in America. We are needed and will be doing this together.)
There is a beautiful pedestrian walkway from our meeting place all the way to the St Pete Pier. We may stay together in one group or break into smaller groups to cover more ground. Options depending upon how far you’d like to walk: Flora Wylie Park (no walking), Vinoy Park (.6 mi), St Pete Pier (1.3 mi), or Saturday Morning Market (1.6 mi). Leave early, stay the whole time, or longer if you’d like; we won’t be reconvening afterward.
Free unlimited parking: North Shore Dr NE and side street parking. There is also a free, large public parking lot at the corner of North Shore Dr NE & 12th Ave NE. Allow extra time to find parking and walk to our meetup spot as parking in this area can get tight on the weekends.
Feel free to print and bring hand cards that state his policies on various issues, from the official website, kennedy24.com to pass out to interested people. (Optional)
Wear your walking shoes and bring water, snacks, hat, sunscreen etc. Let’s wear red, white and blue if you don’t have a Kennedy shirt to wear. We will have buttons, signs and swag to share.
